When you register as a member, submit a membership application, or make a donation, we may collect:

• Personal details — name, gender, date of birth, blood group, photograph.
• Contact details — phone, WhatsApp, email, residential and work/business address.
• Community details — gotra, native village, family member details.
• Identity documents — PAN, Aadhaar and bank account numbers (where you provide them).
• Donation and fee payment records.

Your information is used only for legitimate community purposes, including:

• Maintaining the member directory and managing memberships and fees.
• Issuing donation and fee receipts (including 80G tax receipts).
• Sharing community news, events and reminders.
• Operating optional services such as the matrimonial section (only with your consent).

Member and family details, identity documents and payment records are visible only to authorised Samaj administrators. They are not shown publicly. Sensitive identity numbers (PAN, Aadhaar, bank) are used for records only and are never displayed on public pages.

Providing PAN, Aadhaar and bank details is optional. We store them securely and use them only for membership records and statutory/tax compliance. We do not sell or share them with third parties.

Data is stored on secure, access-controlled cloud infrastructure. Passwords are encrypted, and admin areas are protected by role-based authentication. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure.

You may request to view, correct or delete your information by contacting the Samaj office. Members can update their own profile after logging in.
